AZION TECHNOLOGIES Description

Azion Technologies is a CDN provider with strong presence in Latin America. While their global coverage is limited, the provider has a large amount of points-of-presence (PoPs) in LATAM and particularly in Brazil. The company currently has 25 PoPs in its network and plans to add an additional 26 in the future.

Features offered by Azion include, but are not limited to: media acceleration, security, live streaming and image optimisation.

Customers of Azion are, of have been Lacoste, Lojas Colombo, Catho, Panvel Farmácias, KBOING, Somos Educação, Wise Up, Kroton Educacional and Saraiva.

Azion was founded in 2011 and has three offices in Porto Alegre, São Paulo and in Miami.

QUANTIL Description

Quantil is the US subsidiary of mothercompany ChinaNetCenter, and is headquartered in Santa Clara, California. The company was originally named MileWEB, but when global sales operations were launched in 2014 the subsidiary was renamed to Quantil.

With over 550 points-of-presence (PoPs) in mainland China and 38 more in the rest of the world, Quantil’s network map is expansive.

Just like ChinaNetCenter, Quantil supports a wide range of web delivery services such as website acceleration, mobile acceleration, large download delivery, video-on-demand and live streaming.

Quantil’s clientele includes, or has included Firstrade, Ferrari, Air France and Canali.

For businesses operating their website in mainland China, it is recommended to apply for an ICP license. Most CDN providers offer to aid clients with this process, Quantil included. Without an ICP license, Chinese Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are required to block access to the website.
